The Perfect Family; Chapter
22
Charlie and I go to
a cafe and sit across from eachother in a booth, sipping our
coffee and eating donuts. After a few miunutes, Charlie goes to
the bathroom.
"I will come at you," some guy seductively smirks at
me, reffering to my shirt. I stick my tongue out at him and
playfully punch his shoulder. He sits down next to me, and
scooches really close. I smile uncomfortably as he slings his arm
around my shoulder. "Um.. what are you doing?" I
ask.
"Talking to a babe what about you?" he replies.
"I was trying to eat my donut before I was so rudely
interrupted." I smile.
He laughs. "I'm Ryan." he grins and holds out his
hand. I shake it. "Ari." I reply.
"So, what brings a beautiful girl like you here alone?"
he asks.
"I'm not here by myself silly, my friend just went to
the bathroom." I say tapping the tip of his nose.
"Oh I see, what were you two doing?" he wonders.
"We were buying dresses for my friends party tomorrow
night." I reply.
"Party tomorrow night? Hey, You look familiar.." he
suddenly says.
"Hmm.. You look familiar too now that I think about
it."
"I got it! You went to my school!" he laughs.
"Oh yeah! Are you going to Nick's party?" I
ask.
"I am now." he winks. We exchange numbers.
"I'll call you later babe." he chuckles as he walks
away.
