The ball is in the air. I knew I could get it. I went out after it. I jumped to grab it as Rocky went to head it. Then there was the collison

I'm Payton McCoy, AC high schools star goalie. It's my junior year and spring has just sprung around here. Being that its springs means its soccer season, for me and my best friend that means life begins again. My best friend Julia Houston plays sweeper infront of me. We're a total dynamic duo defensively. As we're jogging out to take our places on the field I glance into the stands and see our boyfriends-Drew Campbell and A.J Collins-sitting togehter. Julia and A.J have been together since the sophomore year and have been disgustingly adorable ever since. Me and Drew have been together for about five months now. Me and Julia are jogging out to our spots on the field and Drew and A.J. cheer. We were playing our first conference game of the season against local rivial NR. NR has always been good and their forward Rocky is known for having the most header-goals in the league. The first thirty minutes of the half go back and forth. NR has a corner kick and I know Rocky's going to go for the header. Me and Julia are barking directions at everyone. The balls in the air. I knew I could get it. I went out after it. I jumped to grab it as Rocky went to head it then there was the collison.

"Payton! Payton can your hear me?!" Someones yelling. I hear sirens in the distance. What happened? I rolled over and a man was kneeling over me.
"Ahhh!" I yelled.
"Payton," the man said, "I'm a paramedic. Do you know what happened?" I shook me head.
"Do you know what you were doing today?" I looked around I was on a grassy field.
"I'm not entirely sure."
"This seems like more than the standarded hit to the head." He said to the man standing behind him.
"Wait maybe she remembers me." A girl said.
"Payton, do you know who this is?" I looked at the girl and shook my head. The girl looked like she was about to cry. I felt bad for upsetting this girl.
The paramedic asked me a l ot more questions. Finally I threw my head into my hands and started crying.
"Payton, whats wrong?" The paramedic asked.
"My head really hurts and I don't know the answers to any of your questions."
They loaded me onto the stretcher and started to cart me off the field. I looked into the stands.
"Wait!" I yelled. "I remember him!" I pointed into the stands.
I was pointing at my ex-boyfriends Austin Bradley.
