Someone Slim to Nothing
Chapter , Part 1
I payed attention to Mr. Alker's writing.
''Jessa...Would you please step up in the front and write
the 3 steps of production?'' My eyes got big with shock as
a sat frozen in my seat. ''Uhrm, uh... S-sure...''
I got up and crept slowly to the front of the class.
''Everyone pay attention to Jessa.'' I got a marker
and took deep breaths. Of course, I know the steps, but I was as
nervous as... As anything that's highly nervous. I turned to
the board and slowly drew a zig-zag line, trying to make
fertilization. Everyone saw and laughed. I put the marker down and
looked at them, face frozen. ''Okay, Jessa, you can go sit
down and take your time...'' I wanted to die, then and
there. I was humiliated. ''Fine,'' I said in a
whisper. I walked slowly into the isle and sat down. Derick looked
at me and gave me a funny face, but it made me feel so much better.
Everyone pointed at me and stuck their tonuge out. Did this mean my
self esteem was destoryed?
Apparently.
