AN UNEXPECTED LOVE

Chapter 13
I woke up the next morning extremely tired. I rolled out of bed and saw Harry changing his shirt. 
"Morning." I mumbled, going to get in the shower. 
"Good morning." he replied politely. I turned the faucet on and showered. Five minutes later, I ran a comb through my wet hair and walked out into the hotel room to get dressed. I grabbed my clothes and walked back into the bathroom. I threw on my dark skinny jeans and a gray sweater with my black converse and walked out of the bathroom. I glanced at the clock. 10:00. 
"Want to go get breakfast?" I asked Harry, trying to make the tense atmosphere in the room go away. 
"Sure. Give me a minute." he said, and disappeared into the bathroom. I walked over to my bed and grabbed my phone. 
2 NEW MESSAGES: 
Dad: Having fun sweetie? Call soon!
Kelsey: OMG. why didn't you tell me about the new guy? 
What new guy? Troy? How could Kelsey have found out about him? Zayn. I had forgot they had gotten along well for the two nights they hung out together. Before I had time to text her back, I was getting a call from her. 
"How could you not tell me about some new hot guy? Seriously?" she asked. 
"Maybe because it's nothing serious?" I said back, making it sound like a question
"Please girl. You know you want him." she said. 
"I don't know that though." I answered, feeling conflicted. 
"So how are things with Harry?" she asked, and I could practically see her wiggling her eyebrows in her dorm room. 
"Harry? What are you talking about?" I asked, confused as to where she was headed. 
"Oh please! You two are totally going to end up together." she said matter of factly. 
"Harry and I are not totally going to end up together. He just wants to be friends." I said, toning my voice down a little bit. 
"But that's not what you want is it honey?" she asked. 
"I don't know what I want. Why does life have to be so difficult sometimes! Ugh! I gotta go, long day ahead of me. I'll talk to you later. And what you're thinking is crazy!" I said, then hung up. 
"So who thinks we're totally going to end up together?" Harry asked, standing in the bathroom doorway. I hadn't realized he was probably listening to our entire conversation. 
"Kelsey seems to think we were made for each other. But she's kind of crazy." 
"Maybe not." he said, and brushed his hair out of his eyes. 
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. 
"I mean what if she's right?" Did I hear him correctly? One minute he says we should just be friends, the next he says we should date?
"Troy isn't good enough for you." he said. It was silent for a few seconds, before I gained the courage to speak. 
"Don't do that." I said, getting angry. 
"Don't do what?" he asked, innocently. 
"Don't tell me Troy isn't good enough for me. You can't play me like that. You tell me that you only want to be friends, and I accept that. But now that I may actually like somebody else, you tell me you want me? That's not fair Harry." I said, getting tears in my eyes. 
"Harley, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." he said, looking sympathetic. 
"Yeah, well you did." I said, not softening my attitude. 
"You're right. It's not fair of me to play you like that. And I apologize. I'm going to go catch up with the boys, why don't you go spend some time with Troy?" he said, and walked out of the room with a pained expression in his eyes. Was I the one that was crazy? I just turned down Harry Styles for some boy I barely knew. Little did I know I would come to regret that decision.
