"Is that..." No. It couldn't be. Josh? No. He is not alive. He is dead. Why would he...?
"You alright?" Dylan stares at me, confused, but concerned.
I nod my head, telling him I'm fine, but inside I feel like ripping myself apart in frustration. "No," I blurt my thoughts out loud.
The yellow eyed boy with black hair looks right at my way. For a second I expect a smile to take over his lips, but nothing happens.
He continues to stare at me, coldly and then he turns his back on me, before walking to the main door and taking steps into the building.
"NO! WAIT!" I shout after him, but the boy doesn't stop, instead he continues to walk into the house.
I follow his steps and watch his every move. He looks like Josh, he is even acting like Josh now; his movement is so swift and calm. It had to be Josh.
But if it is Josh, why is he ignoring me? And giving me a cold side. "JOSH!" I yell his name. The boy stops for a second to turn around and look at me.
"How... How do you know my name?" His eyes are widened and there is worriness in his voice. "And why do you keep staring at me?" For a moment I hear his whispered mutter "Creep," But I ignored his comment.
"Josh, stop acting," I pause. "Its me, Unknown,"
The boy stares at me and then gives a frown. "And who is Unknown?" He stops and laughs. "No wonder I don't know you; you're 'Unknown'," His puts emphasis on my name.
"So you remember me?" I ask, there was still hope in my voice. Why is he acting like this?
The boy looks bored and disgusted now. "No. I don't know you," He pauses. "So, can you please leave me alone,"
Dylan is making his way to me, from behind, and soon he places his warm hand on my cold shoulder. "What's going on?"
Josh looks at Dylan. "And who exactly are you?" He is angry now, more confused than raging.
Dylan shakes his head, and then chuckles harshly. "The guy who lives here," And then he pushes past Josh, to get inside his home.
I continue to look at Josh, confused and hurt. "Your name is Josh, and you're...you're.." I pause, I didn't want to ramble on about cr*p. Plus, Josh doesn't even care.
He looks at me, and then lets out a sigh. "Finally, he's gone,"
My eyes look up to him, and then watch a smile take over his mouth, as he extends his arms for me. "Ermh..wait," For a second I'm confused. Is this gesture he is pulling for me? "So you do know me," I laugh my into his arms.
Josh chuckles himself. "I was waiting for that Dylan boy to disappear," He pauses to release himself from my tight grip. "I'm sorry I ignored you like that,"
I raise my eyebrow. "Why were you waiting for Dylan to go? Dylan isn't a harm,"
Josh narrows his eyes. "What do you mean Dylan is not a harm, he is the biggest harm of all of them,"
I stare at Josh, confused but hurt at the same time. Dylan isn't like that. He isn't. After that time we spent in the woods, and alone in that house, my attitude for him has changed. "But he isn't what you think,"
Josh laughs. "And that's what he wants you to think as well," There is deepness in his voice now; he runs his hands through his hair before letting out a huff.
I shake my head in disbelief. "This is way to much drama," I pause. "Wait...Josh, what makes you say that Dylan is a threat?"
Josh smiles. "I've been in this place for a while now," He pauses. "After you left me!" There is anger in his voice, after he remembers how I left him helplessly at the feet of Sirois Mandeth.
I shake my head. "I didn't mean to..It's just..." I start to remember why I even left Josh. "Everything was happening in a rush, and then Dylan and Brett took me home..and-" My words were cut of by Josh's.
"Exactly," He stopped. "Dylan and Brett took you home, didn't they?" He cursed himself. "And now they know about Nick and about all the other workers,"
I let the guilt slide down my throat and churn in my stomach. "Umh...Josh," I leave a long pause before I speak again. "I don't think.." My words fade off.
"What?" Josh stares at me, curious. "What is it?"
I let out and groan, before my feelings are emotionless, and unexplainable. "There is no Nick," A tear rolls down my face.
Josh stares at me. For a minute, I expect him to be upset, but he keeps his feelings to himself. "I know,"
"I'm sorry, I should've done something about it-" I pause. "...Wait...? You know?" My tone is shocked at his words. "But..how?"
"Brett came a few hours before, and brought Nick's body," He paused, and then held my shoulders tightly. "Listen to me, Unknown," I nod my head at his words. "Currently, I'm pretending I've lost my memory, that means I don't remember anything and I'm working with Sirois Mandeth,"
I look at him confused. "Okay..."
I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen, as Josh explain me the plan.
A few more chapters and then I'll probably be done with this story. Sorry about the lazy drama in the previous chapters. I feel like I've lost quite a lot of readers from that. But I'm still gonna be writing a little before I leave Witty...
