chapter thirty five

Three Months Later
"Look! You can see New York!" Eleanor pointed out the window, and shook my arm. I groaned, and laid my head back down on her shoulder.
"How can you sleep?" She bounced, "We're about to land in New York!"
"Alright, alright" I said yawning, "I'm awake"
The plane descended on to the runway and my ears popped.
"Thank you for flying, please take all belongings with you and have a nice trip!" A smooth voice said over the speaker.
Me and Eleanor grabbed our bags and stepped in to the large airport.
I looked around for the familiar faces that should be greeting us, but I saw nothing. I turned on my phone and saw a text from Liam.
Baby, we can't come in. Paul says we're going to be mobbed:( Meet us in the limo out front
I showed Eleanor, and we both walked casually to the door.
I felt my heart pounding. I was finally seeing Liam again. The boys were getting so big in America, they've barely had any time to themselves.
Eleanor stepped into the limo, screamed and attacked Louis. Me and Liam watched them in amusement.
"Hi beautiful" He said, and smiled. My heart literally melted.
"I've missed you so much" I grinned, and he kissed me.
We went to the hotel, and Liam brought my bags to my room in a gentlemen like gesture. I showered, and changed out of my plane outfit, and into skinny jeans, wedges and a light pink sweater.
"So, my love, are you ready?" He asked me.
"For what?" I crinkled my eyebrows at him.
"We have somewhere to go" He said, and he dragged me out of the hotel. After walking for a while our destination became pretty clear.
"The Empire State Building" I said dreamily staring up.
He grinned at me, took my hand, and we climbed to the top.
"Well, what do you think?" Liam asked, looking down on New York with me.
"Everything seems so small, it's beautiful" I sighed happily.
"What's beautiful here is you" Liam said sweetly.
"Liam, you're amazing" I blushed, feeling the butterflies I still felt around him.
"I got you something" Liam admitted.
"Liam, you shouldn't have!" I said, "There's no occasion!"
"It's just because I love you" He shrugged, and I hugged him.
He handed me a box, and I pulled out a heart locket.
"Liam, it's so beautiful" I kissed him lightly, "Thank you so much"
"Open it" He smiled.
I gently pulled at the heart and it opened smoothly. On one side there was a picture of me and Liam, and on the other it said L+E engraved into the smooth metal.
"Liam" I kissed him, and he put his arms around me, "I love you"
"I love you too Ellie, so much" He said sincerely.
"Forever?" I asked.
"Forever" He promised.
