The nurse came back in and gave me a cup of water and two pills, probably Tylenol. I took them and noticed she was still here. " Um miss you have a visitor. " She said and nodded at the door. My heart litterally dropped into my stomach. " Emma. " My mom said. Brandan looked over and looked at me. I didn't say anything and the nurse made an exit and my mom came closer. " Do you even know what you've put me through for the past few days. " She hissed. " I know exactly what i'm putting you through. " I growled back at her. " You will be coming home. With me and you will be going to your grandmothers. " She said flattly. " Would you like this to be a repeat of what happened last time Mother? I'm not going anywhere with you and i am not going to grandma's. " I said and looked at Brandan. He had a blank expression on his face and was looking at my mom. " Emma this isn't a choice i will drag you out of here by your hair if i have to. " She said darkly. " Would you like me to start running now or later? I'll give you a head start to get out of here. " I smiled. " EMMA! " She screamed. " Mom stop yelling. " I gritted my teeth together. " WHY BECAUSE YOUR HEAD HURTS? BECAUSE YOU WERE WITH HIM?" She pointed to Brandan who seemed more alert now and his face twisted into an angry glare. " YOU COULD HAVE DIED BECAUSE YOU RAN AWAY AND YOU STILL WANT TO GO RUN AWAY AGAIN?" Her volume increased. I stood up, my mom and i were the same height or i was a little bit taller. I walked towards her. " Stop. Yelling. I will not hesitate to get you thrown out of here because you are the last person i feel like talking to right now. I do not want you to take care of me. Ever again. You're drunk half the time anyway so why should you even care. Leave now or i'll get someone to assist you out. " I said in her face. She was disgusted and started walking towards the door. " Someone else is here to see you seeing that you two were all over the news. " She smiled evily. Then someone else walked in. My heart returned to my stomach. Brandan clamped his mouth shut and looked at me. " Emma. " He said and walked over to me and hugged me. I really had no clue what to do now. " Uh hi Marvin. " I said my heart picking up. Brandan and Marvin were in the same room at the same time when i said i had no boyfriend and heres my boyfriend. He let go and looked over at Brandan. " You let her get hurt? " He said. " I helped her stay alive. " Brandan growled through his teeth. " She's still hurt and it's your fault why won't you just let her come home? " Marvin said with no emotion. " If you couldn't tell already she doesn't want to come home, she's been perfectly happy. With me. " He emphasized the last part and Marvin's hands curled up into balls. " She looks happy. She has a huge cut on her head and she has a concussion because of you and look at you just sittin here doing nothing cuz you got shot for doing something stupid. It could have been Emma that got shot because of your stupid plan if you just stayed where you were the police would have taken care of it. " Marvin said clearly extremely angry. It was like i wasn't here and it was just them yelling at each other. " She would have died. He had the trigger almost all the way pulled back and when i hit him he shot me. Like i knew he would don't come at me trying to say the police would have taken care of it. If i wasn't there she would have been gone and you wouldn't have even had this chance to see her. Which your taking no advantage of you're just standing here yelling at me when you could be with her. " He said. I was really upset, my moms visit and this was too much for me. " I'm gonna go. " I said quietly and walked out of the room. " Emma! " I heard them both say. I jogged through the halls to find my room where they had me before Brandan woke up and i hopped on my bed and just cried.
