So today,
I come home to find my thirteen year old brother looking up 1D on
iTunes. He asked me if I knew when "Catching Fire" came
out in theaters. He also mentioned he wished he could buy tickets
way ahead of time for "Breaking Dawn: Part 2". Now,
seeing his young age, some might joke and say "he'll
turn out gay." But in reality, they don't look deep
enough into the situation. You see, he's been dating this
girl for a few months. They're each others' first kiss!
He goes to all of her swimming tournaments, stays with her at
school until her grandma picks her up, never brings up her
parents except when she mentions it first, is always texting her
no matter what we're doing, where we are, or what time it is,
let's her cry it all out when she's having a bad day then
asks her if she wants to watch a movie, and he even bought her
her favorite drink (Casey's slushee) and candy AND flowers
for her birthday!! He tagged along to go shopping with her and
her best friend, and held all their bags, buying her perfume and
lotion and a funny t-shirt. Don't get me wrong-she's just
the same way to him. Extremely sweet. I love the girl. But for
once in my lifetime, I'm jealous of my little brother.
Specifically, his girlfriend. She's so lucky and she knows
it, too. Sweetest girl I've ever met.
And I wish them the best in HS.
¡Buenas suarte, mi hermano!
And thank you, to my little bro, for showing your big sis there
really ARE good guys out there!
