So, next year is my
freshman year at highschool. wooh. my older brother will be a
senior. he basically knows everyone and is super popular. I,
however, and ion band and colorguard. herp, i know.
anyway, he wants me to be a cheerleader. Not just compltely
for his social hierarchy position, but he actually DOES love
me, so he sees its in my best interest. besides, i've
been wanting to be a cheerleader for SO LONG.
there's a few problems with that, though.
- I have no support whatsoever from my friends.
- i'm not exactly "flexible", haha.
- and pretty much none of the cheerleaders like me.
Should I try out for it, guys? I really don;t want to start
highschool off as a nerd. i'm in all honors classes and
one AP (as a freshman? WHAAAA??)
So yeah. anyone know have any advice? thanks.
xx

try cheering!!(: you don't need to be flexible:) they work around your strengths:) but if you don't wanna do cheering, then try another sport!(: soccer, dance, karate, gymnastics, field hockey, swimming?:) no matter what you choose, you'll still make new friends!(:

You shouldn't do anything just for popularity, but if you really want to be in cheerleading cause you like it, then do it. All it takes is practice. Screw what people think of you. Do what makes you happy(:
