Girls, I need help.
So I think I made a new friend.
He has been in my class sinse 5th grade and I'm in 8th now.
I just started texting him and getting to know
him....

practically told me he was emo.
He told me he
thinks he's ugly and that no one would ever go out with
him.
I don't want him to hurt himself

that kind of happened to me but this kid was saying that he is ugly and a loser and nobody would go out with him and i said your great.... then he asked me out. i said no because honestly i didnt like him. i think that you should tell him that there is more to life than just middle school. you have your whole life to find the one for you. the one may be in middle school, but chances are, there not. and tell him he has so much to live for and he always has you as a friend.

maybe you should try telling him or understand what he's going through because ur his true friend and ur always there 4 him

be there for him. you never really know what he is like. maybe he just doesnt want to be close to someone. be his friend. ask him more about it. does he cut? does he seem like an unhappy dude? does he have the 'emo look' ?

tell him that, and tell him you'll be there for him if he ever needs you for anything

i dont know you but ill try to help :) ummm well first of all, tell him that you will always be there for him, that you will always try to help, that he can tell you anything, and most importantly, that he can trust you. that usually makes people feel accepted. try telling him that and if you need more advice comment on my profile ill try to help :)
