They aren't as bad as everyone makes them seem. You're gonna be in pain for a couple days but after that you'll be fine (: just eat yogurt, pudding, mashed potatoes, soft stuff like that for a couple days. Oh and once your teeth stop hurtin and you can eat almost anything, always, ALWAYS Check your teeth after eating to make sure you don't have food in them, cuz that's nasty. Lol. Wire brushes really help to get food out from under Ur wire, Ur ortho will prolly give you that(: & every time Ur teeth hurt just think "hey, at least I'll have straight teeth!"

i had braces, it doesnt hurt, you should be alright :)

hey i just got my brace on im going to be honest they kill after about 3 hrs of getting them on they'll hurt for like 2-4 days and then the pain will go away.. i just got mine changed/ tightened the first time last thursad that hurt but for only 1 day surprisingly..
just follow the rules they gave you and eat soft things!!!!! :)
