Tyler's Point Of View:

"Eric, what the hell are you doing?!"

"What does it look like?"

"I told you to stay away from Payton, this isn't even close to being away from her."

"Yeah I know. Tyler, she's hot. Did you honestly think I was going to listen to you?" I rolled my eyes and approached Eric, standing eye to eye with him.

"Maybe not. But I thought you were smart enough to stay away because I said if you touched her I was going to kick your as*."

"Well you didn't."

"Looks like that's going to change quickly." I punched him in the face, instantly making his nose bleed. He lunged his fist at me but I stopped it with my hand and used the other to throw him against the wall. His body crashed the concrete building and he slid against the wall, his body covered in blood. I rushed over to Payton who was sprawled on the cold floor.

"Payton, can you hear me?" After waiting for a response that never came, I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her then pulled her up and carried her to my car. I knew not to trust Eric and good thing I didn't because Payton could have been hurt worse if I didn't hear her. I pulled my door open with my free hand and gently placed Payton in the back seat. 

 

Payton's Point Of View:

I felt frozen in place, almost lifeless. I was aware of my surroundings and I could hear everything but I couldn't speak or move my body. Tyler speeded towards the hospital, a worried look upon his face. Using what little strength I had after hitting my head against the concrete, I slowly stood up and tried speaking. "Tyler." I sounded hoarse and I don't think he heard me. "Tyler." I tried again. This time he hit the break, making the car come to a sudden stop. Tyler spun around and faced me, his face instantly lighting up.

"Your awake!"

"Yeah. What exactly happened?"

"Eric."

"What did he d-"

"Let's not talk about that arrogant basta**."

"Okay... Well for how long was I out?"

"Like fifteen minutes. Do you feel okay?"

"Yeah I feel fine. My head just kind of hurts."

"Do you want to skip the day?"

"What?"

"It's two, school is still going on."

"Oh, really? Yeah I guess so then." He smiled and turned back, starting the car again.

" Tyler, wait."

"Yeah?"

"If were not going to school where are we going?"

"Wherever you want to go." I smiled and stood up straighter, then thought intently. 

"Hmm, we could go to my house and watch The Notebook. I love that movie so mu-"

"Yeah I know Payton, you've only made me watch it what, fifty times with you?"

"Can we make it fifty one?" He sighed and rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Fine."

"Yay! See, that's why your the worlds best boyfriend."

"I know, i'm perfect." I playfully punched his arm and he smiled.

"Be glad i'm not making you watch the vow too." He smirked then drove towards my house.

"Tyler."

"Yes?"

"Thanks for saving me."

"Don't mention it."

In a matter of minutes we arrived at my house and now I was with Tyler in my room with a bowl of popcorn in my hand watching The Notebook.

"Payton are you crying?"

"N-no" His eyes were filled with amusement and he smiled slightly while pulling me closer to him. 

"Why do you always cry when we watch this movie?"

"Because it's so sad! He never read the letters."

"And you cry over that?"

"I'm a girl. Girls cry a lot Tyler, get used to it." 

"Alright." My phone beeped and I looked at the screen, happy to see a message from Abby.

Abby: Payton! Did you ditch? You tottaly left me stranded in Ronan's class, it's so boring without you and Ty!

Payton: I'm sorry Abbs, I had a bit of a dilema with Eric and Tyler and I are at home watching The Notebook ;)

Abby: Aww, how cute! Except for the dilema of course. What happened?

Payton: Not sure :/ I blacked out. I remember he tried kissing me though :O

Abby: Sounds like him. Anyways, Emmett's having a party at eight, you and Tyler wanna come?

Payton: Yeah, sounds like fun. Can you ditch school? Tyler's practically falling asleep here. I love him but he hates this movie :(

Abby: Of course I can! I'll cut before math so i'll be there in ten minutes, kay?

Payton: Yay :) See you soon, bye

Abby: Bye Payton 

I exited out of the conversation and put my phone on the table beside the couch and snuggled deeper into Tyler's warm chest.

"Abby's coming over, is that okay?"
