So I basically lived, breathed, and ate with Michael for the rest of the week. 
He made me forget all about Corey, and he showed me to this amazing new bands. They were rock, and they made me realize that there was more to life than just boys.
We went to movies, restaurants, hung out at each others dorms, studied, and went on long walks with our cameras.
At some times, I could catch him looking at me funny, but when I asked "What?" He would always say "Nothing." and ruffle my hair or flick my nose.

I was wide awake, at 11:57 at night. Three minutes 'til my birthday! I thought.
Ever since I was a little girl I would always get super excited about my birthday, heck, any birthday. I just loved celebrating the life of a person, and you know, the presents and cake were just bonuses.
11:59. Yay! 21, finally.
12:00.
I breathed, smiling, before hearing my phone vibrate from across the room in my bag.
"Ughh, what?" I whisper, dragging myself out of bed and stumbling over to my bag.
I hit a button and was momentarily blinded by the light of my phone.
"Ughh"
Mikey: GOOD MORRRNINGGG BIRTHDAAYYY GIRRLLLL!! You have about five seconds before I come crashing into your room. Love you, Mikey.
Wait, what?
BOOM, BOOM,BOOM.
"Let me iinnnnnnn!" I heard someone call from down the hall.
I quietly ran over, flinging open the door, revealing a wide-eyed and smiling Michael.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIR-" I clamped a hand over his mouth.
"Jeesh Mikey you're going to wake up the entire campus." I say, sticking my tongue out.
He licks my hand, and I let go.
"Eeewwww!" I whine.
He just laughs and walks by me into the living room.
"Sooo, you're never going to guess what I got you for your birthday!" He says.
"What?"
"Guess."
"A PONY?!?!?!"
"Uck, no. Did I ever tell you that you are a horrible guesser?" He teased.
I stuck my tongue out at him as he pulled out an envelope.
"Here, open it."
I gently slide my finger under the crease, and read his cheesy friendship birthday card, but when I open it, I see two tickets to an Avril Lavigne concert taped to the inside.
"NO FUDGING WAY! DUDE, OH MY GOSH -" I scream, before I clamp my hand over my mouth, remembering that it was twelve in the morning.
"Dude. No way!" I whisper.
"Yes way."
I jump into his arms for a hug, this was the best gift I have ever gotten!
"When is it?" I ask, glancing back down at the tickets.
"Today."


okay, so I needed to get that chapter out of the way c:
the concert is the next chapter (which will be up tonight)
and you'll never guess what happensssssss :o
