Kaitlyn's POV
I woke
up in a hospital bed, wearing the stupid patient gown. i hated
hospitals. I looked to my right and saw Kaiden in a chair looking
at a magazine. I smiled. Kaiden looked up and saw i was awake. He
stood up and sat back down on the corner of my bed. "there you
are sleepy head" he whispered. I felt his fingers
intertwhine with mine. "what happened?" i asked, sitting
up. "Jake accidentaly let the basketball slip away and it went
almost twenty mph. it may not seem like alot but thats alot of
force to hit your face. Anyway, the ball knocked you down and gave
you a black eye but the nurse said that it would heal in a couple
of weeks." he said. "wheres my dad?" i asked.
"oh he got stuck at work and said that he would be gone for
about a month. He said that someone could stay with you, you could
stay with someone, or you could goto your brothers. And he left you
300$ for food, your dress, and just to have fun." i smiled.
Gosh i loved my dad!
Kaidens POV
Watching Kaitlyn smile made my day. Just knowing that she was okay
made my day. "so when can i leave?" she asked. "as
soon as you want. My mom said that she will sign you out, and if
you want, you can stay in the guest room at our house till your dad
gets home." i answered. "mmk ill think bout it" she
said. Yep, this is going tobe an amazing month, i
thought.
