Chapter 1 (part 3)

After 1st period, Seria and I walk down stairs to our second period. Mr. Brouncher is nice, as are most of my techers, except for out coach, Coach LaPlatey . She's a witch! My first day was okay. I didn't talk to anyone but Seria, but one boy caught my eye in final period.
    "Did you see that guy in 7th period?" I ask Seria. She nods, "The freakisly tall one?" "He wasn't THAT tall!" I say. She nods vigorously, "Uh huh. He was." I wave my hand at her. "What about him?" She asks. "This is our stop right?" I ask. She nods, "Why do you ask?" I shrug. Her eyes get wide, "You LIKE him! Oh my goodness Drew! He was kinda hot, did you see that guy in 4th period eyeing you? Bro he was sexy. And wanna know who I think is hot? That Micheal guy in 1st period!" She says breathlessly. I just laugh, "I guess I do kinda, and eyeing me? Psh girl you're crazier than I thought," I reply, "And he was kinda cute I guess." We laugh as we get off the bus. Seria grabs my arm, "Drew Micheal rides our bus, I saw him on the way off, he was sitting 2 seats  in front of us!" She almost yells. She turns bright pink and we walk off towards my house.
    "My house looks like we just moved in, even though it was almost a month ago," I warn. "It's okay," she offers. We walk into my house and I hear Sydney crying, and my mom complaining. "I'm sorry, I should have warned you about them," I say, embarrased. She waves me off, "No problem! I ahve 3 little brothers and 2 older sisters!" We laugh about it and head up to my bedroom. "This is my bedroom. I was supposed to um-pack, I just never got around to it," I say as we sit on my bed. Seria looks around, "Nice place." We laugh again. "So Seria, wanna fill out this personal for Miss Launcher?" I ask. She nods and pulls out the 2 page 'All About Me!' packet Miss Launcher handed out to this class. "We could learn some stuff about each other too," she jokes. I nod and smile.
"Question 1," Seria says, "What is your favorite color?" I think for a second. "Lime Green, you?" I say. "Orange!" She replies, a little too happy. We right down our answers. "Question 2, favorite food?" I ask. "Pizza, you?" Seria answers. "Mac and cheese," I say smiling. We laugh and write down our answers. "How many questions are there?" I ask. "Um, like 10, they're really spaced out," she says looking it over. "Okay, next question?" I urge. "Where you were born, I was born in Washington, you?" Seria says. "Illinois," I say, not really thinking.
We finish our questionare, and Seria has to go because it's getting late. Her mom comes to get her and we wave good bye after she put her cell number in my phone. My phone! Poor Nate! I habven't texted him all day, and I didn't even tell Seria about him! I'm a horrible girlfriend ! I grab my phone and check my messages . No new. Maybe I'm not so bad after all...
