Chapter 6
Hailey showed me to my room, it was huge! The room had this beachy teenager theme. The bed was queen sized and I had my own walk-in closet. Hailey left me to unpack, her room was just down the hall and she needed to get ready. After about an hour all my things were unpacked and I was ready to go. I was wear a blue bikini. It complimented my somewhat tanned skin.
The beach was only a block away, so we just walked. Hailey started talking to me about how much she loved the bordwalk and the stores. She told me about all the fun rides and how she went at least once a week. I couldn't wait to go.
When we got to the beach we decided to set up about 3 yards away from the water. We put on our sunscreen, SPF 45.
Apparently, Brandon had texted some of his friends to come down to the beach. Two of his friends came over. One had brown hair and deep sea blue eyes. The other had black hair and brown eyes. The black-haired boy was carrying a volleyball. Brandon introduced them to me. The blue-eyed boy's name was Charlie. The black-haired boy's name was Daniel. They were both cute, but a little old for me. The boys ran off to play volleyball.
I asked Hailey if she wanted to go into the water. She said sure. Sally was already in the water playing with aunt Rachel. My uncle stayed back to make sure nothing got stolen or moved.
Since the sun had been up for awhile, the water was a little warm, but it was mostly cool. We splashed each other with water and rode some waves. After about 45 minutes we got out. We re-applied our sunscreen. Sally was making a sand castle, and we decided to help. There were a lot more people at the beach now, than before. 
I was starting to get hungry, so I asked Hailey what time it was. She check her phone. Apparently, it was 12:03. I asked her if she wanted to get something to eat and, of course, she said yes. She said there was a good place just around the corner. It had, basically, everything. Yum.
