Chapter Two

Aaron. She smiled, his name melted into her brain like it was natural. "Hey." she half smiled back pretending to be busy.
Aaron was going to say something but the teacher walked in and class began.
He whispered over to her. "Can I borrow a pencil?"
She looked over at him and nodded, he had one in his bag but she reached in hers and handed him one.
As their fingers touched she felt a spark of electricity through her and she gasped silently so no one would hear, but Aaron did, he gave her a smirk and started taking down the notes.
She focused again trying to shake him from her mind, but it was like trying to forget how to talk.
After class Aaron walked next to her and handed her the pencil back but she didnt take it not wanting to touch him again. "It's alright," keep it she smied.
Andy suddenly appeared next to her. "Hey babe." He kissed her and when she looked back Aaron was gone.
For the next few weeks Aaron and her had gotten closer and had even hung out once, Andy didnt seem to like him but Aaron was her friend and she wasnt going to give him up for that.
It was summer now in Florida and Lena got dressed in her favorite summer dress planning to see Aaron at the beach.
She walked on the beach smiling as she saw his beach perfect hair ruffling in the wind and his eyes gleaming towards her like they always did. Stop it. She told herself. I'm in love with Andy.
"You look beautiful as always." Aaron smiled.
She rolled her eyes and walked with him, "How do you like Florida?"
He sighed. "It's alright, all the girls here are disgustingly tan though."
She hit him playfully. "Hey! I didnt know I was that tan." She laughed.
"I'm just white." he smiled. "How are you and Andy?"
"We're alright..." She smiled and hope twinkled in his eyes she quickly took it back. "We're great." She watched as it faded just as quickly as it came.
Though she didnt want to admit it that day with Aaron was ont of her favorites. They went to the new carnival in town and he beat her at almost every game laughing when she almost hit the guy running the stand with a dart.
When they were walking home on the beach shore he smiled at her. "How can you be so perfect?"
She laughed. "I am not..." you are. she wanted to say but coudn't and sighed.
When they got back to her house he hugged her tighty then looked at her, she looked into his eyes their faces so close together. Scared she pushed him back and ran inside without even saying goodnight.
