So today I told my Dad about the trip me & my Best Friend plan to take this summer after our 18th birthdays, to Rhoad Island, I expected him to freak out & get all mad like he did about the previous Trips I told him about ( New York & Las Vegas) but he suprised me by saying he was fine with it. I think this is great because now I feel like I can do it without feeling guilty, I feel like I have his supprt which is what I've wanted from the beginning. When I asked him why he was ok with this trip & not the others he said, " I doubt anything would happen to you both in Rhoad Island, It's not like New york or Vegas where I'd be shipping you back in a body bag." I think this is a great start to getting him to warm up to the idea of me traveling places. I just wanted to share how happy I was about this to my fellow Wittians.
