Prologue
It
wasn't long since we moved out of Pine Hill, to this eerie
looking Victorian house. It was set on a beach that nobody went
to. Nobody had ever gone anywhere near the house.
Chapter one:
I slammed the trunk hood down as I carried my briefcases,
glancing at the creepy looking house. "I swear, my friends
are never going to come over my house," I murmured.
"What, sweetie?" Mom questioned. "Oh,
nothing." I carefully stepped onto the old wooden creaky
stairs, as I invited myself into the house. The old chandellier
covered in webs was the first thing that caught my eye. I
climbed up one of the two curving staircases, alarmed. The old
potrait of a lady in the hallway scared me most. I carefully
walked to my room, acting as if I was walking over a bridge
with sea monsters below me. I threw my luggage on my bare queen
sized bed. "It smells ghostly in here," I thought. My
burgundy walls surrounding me. "Honey! Come downstairs to
help me finish unpacking," Mom yelled.
"Alright!" I carefully jogged down the stairs and met
my mom. "Here, put these things in the cabinet," She
said. "Okay." I said as she walked into the kitchen.
I carefully unzipped her luggage and took the things out.
"So honey, are you liking the house so far?"
"Yeah..sure," I murmured. "What's wrong,
sweetie?"
