The
Mistake.
Chapter
9.
I
climbed down the ladders onto the muddy ground and walked
off.
“Come back up” Rocco yelled. I
ignored the comment and walked off.
I turned around the corner to see the three
boys stood around the corner.
I heard them laugh while one of them stared
at me.
“Didn’t he tell you?” one
of them scoffed.
I ignored the comment before one of them
grabbed my wrist.
“Let go” I whimpered as he
tightly gripped my hand.
“You came between us and Rocco”
one hissed, “No one gets away with
it”
“I didn’t know anything and if I
did I would have walked away” I said honestly “I
don’t go around with gang scum like you
lot.”
I looked to my wrist to see my hand going
bright red.
“Now will you let go I need to go
home” I said worriedly “My parents are expecting
me”
That was a big fat lie; my parents
wouldn’t be bothered if I died. They wouldn’t even
pay for my funeral they’d probably just leave
me.
But he wouldn’t let go, I looked into
his smug brown eyes but he didn’t look
sorry.
“You’ll regret it” he
whispered in my ear, “We’ll get you back don’t
worry”
I looked back to the tree house, if Rocco was
so bothered he’d be trying to find me.
“You’re welcome to him” I
hissed, he pushed me to the ground which was full of wet leaves;
I got up and ran off.
I ran behind the tree and cried. Why
didn’t he tell me?
I ran around the corner and sat on the dirty
ground and pulled my knees to my chest.
I looked to see a shadow appear on the
floor.
“Don’t cry” I heard someone
say.
“Go away, you wouldn’t
understand” I snapped, wiping away the
tears.
“It’s me” he said,
“Rocco”
“Go away” I said between my tears
“You’re the last person I want to
see”
I quickly stood up and walked off.
Realizing this boy I thought I knew, I don't know him at
all.
