just text him. ask him random questions, like hows life been going? whats new? what are you up to? its only awkward if you make it awkward..good luck! i hope i helped!!! if you ever need anything, im here for you!

start off slow, take it day by day and say hi to him in the hallway, text him, send him an e-mail, or just go to a spoting event hat he is at and sit near him, and ever now and then, say something t him... eventually keep talking to him more, and there u go
