Just another vampire story
Chapter 26
 It was amazing.
I couldn't belive it.
There was a waterfall right in the middle, which lead off to a lake.
The moon shone over it, which made it sparkle.
But it wasn't this that made me gasp.
There were Lily's Surrounding the clearing.
As in actual Lily flowers.
"Wow"
I said spinning around, embracing it all.
"You like it?"
Damon asked from behind me.
"Like it? I love it"
I began to take a seat on the grass, not caring if i got mud on my dress.
But Damon stopped me first.
He took of his jacket and Layed it on the floor for me.
"Thanks"
I said taking a seat on his strangely warm jacket.
He took a seat opposite me, clearly not caring about the wet grass.
I sat thinking fro a while.
Something suddenly occured
Why hadn't i thought about it before.
"Why do you hate me?"
I asked, accidently blurting it out.
I saw hurt and shock cross his face
"What? What makes you think i hate you?"
"No, i mean, why did you hate me, like when i was a kid and used to come over for summer..I dont know i just got the impression that you hated me?"
He smiled, despite the conversation
"Why are you smiling?"
I asked. Had i done something?
"I dont hate you Lily...Quite the opposite actually"
It sent a wave of butterflies go through me.
Whoa.
"Y-you don't H-hate me"
He laughed this time
He took my hands in his
"Lily"
He began
"I never hated you, I dont Hate you, I'll never hate you"
Whoa, another set of butterflies.
I couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching us.
Why would someone be watching us?
I was probably imagining it.
Even so, Damon was here, He'd protect me.
I wen't back to reality, if you could call this reality.
But in the back of my mind, i couldn't shake off the feeling that we were being watched.
