"im not really sure how to tell
you this.." connor said. Derek had known me since i was born .
Our parents used to be best friends before Connor's died in a
carcrash. So derek and i were close.. but i didnt want him to think
different of me. "just tell me, itll be okay" derek said.
"look at her arm" connor said. "no that wasnt part
of thr plan!" i whispered in a angry tone. derek tried to grab
my arm but i wouldnt let him. "its okay kris." connor
said. "i got ya" and he held onto my other hand, tight. I
let derek look at my arm "oh my what happend? did u fall and
get hurt.? Wait there are other scars.. what happend??" Derek
said concerned. "Kristen did that to herself, with a
razorblade." connor said. "i started crying really
hard" Derek grabbed me and wrapped me into a hugeeee hug.
"shhh shhh sweetie its okay." he said. im 16 and derek is
23. sooo yea. "Kristen why would u do that?" derek said.
"im to fat and to ugly for anyone to love and my dad used to
abuse me before my mom gained custody and im to worthless.." i
told him everything. just like i told connor.I told him how i
starve myself. And how i hate living. "kristen im so sorry,
youre so beautiful and skinny and perfect please dont think
otherwise" he said as he kept huggine me. Connor was getting
teary and choked up again. and i was still bawling my eyes out.
"Hun do u think there is anyway you can stop?" derek
asked. "i understand you dont want to tell anyone.. but u
could move in with connor and i? or you could come over here alot?
you need to be with people who know" He said. "i dont
know" i replied through tears. "well you wouldnt be the
only girl here, my wife lives here to! shes just at work"
"you cant tell anyone else!" i cried "no no hun i
wont tell her, its out secret" he said as he hugged me again.
"lets go" he got up and got his car keys. "were are
we going?" connor asked. "out to eat" derek said.
"im determend to get something in her". I just followd. i
was to weak to fight back. As we got in the car it started raining.
we had made it just in time. When we got to the reasuraunt. (some
pizza place) we got outside the car without a umbrella , because we
didnt care about getting wet! There was one problem. Our clothes
were sticking to us. you could see my ribs through my shirt. and my
backbone. "omigod.." derek said, "What?"
answerd connor. "look at you kristen! how do u even think
youre fat. you can see youre ribs for godsake! you need to
eat!" derek said. i pulled my shirt away from my body before
connor could see. but connorr walked over to me and lift my shirt
(barley just to see if derek was being truthful) connor started
crying "you need to eat" he choked out. we walked inside
and derek said "is there a scale in the family bathroom?"
to the lady at the counter. family bathroom are for parents to take
their little kids in if they r the opposite gender. "yep"
said the lady. "great thanks" said derek. He and connor
followd me into the bathroom. I stepped up onto the scale.. i was
75 pounds. i started crying. "im to fat!" i say. "75
pounds to fat!" connor was still choked up. and now derek
became choked up. "hun you are dangorisly skinny. you need to
eat or youre body might start shutting down" derek said. There
was only one thing i could say.. and it was the truth
"i dont care"
