What Happened to Witty?

A lot of people are leaving. A lot of quotes are those really stupid chain letters. Some top quotes are repeats. People are hating to the point they are cyberbullying. People jock. Take credit for things that aren't theirs. They say quotes are theirs when they are from another site. Asking for favs. Begging for follows.
Where did all the inspiration and originality go?

What happened to the Witty we love?
