Chapter 1

Hi. My name is Larissa Garcia. This is the story of how I killed my sister. It wasn’t on purpose but it happened. Because I was mad. Because I would get in trouble when i didn’t spend time with her. Because she would go off with her boyfriend Dominic. Pathetic was that Sophie. She always got the best things. The most love from our mother. Even the teachers loved her. But what about me? I was a what do you call it? A delinquent. Says my mother. Always getting in trouble. Not the best grades. Shoplifting. All the bad things you could think of. Even murder. On my own sister. So reader I warn you. Not all stories have happy endings. Not even my own.

It all started on a saturday. My best friend Maddy had just moved away a couple of weeks ago. I was devastated. She was technically the only friend I had. All the other girls where either too perfect or just gross. Like Sophie. Perfect boyfriend. Perfect friends. Perfect body. Perfect hair. Perfect everything. Her best friends were off course the most popular girls in the school. Jenniluyn, Phoebe, Caitlin, Amanda and Little Miss Perfect Vanessa. And I’m not just calling her Little Miss Perfect. She won that title when she was three. Three.

So back to the saturday part. Mother was forcing us to go to the mall together. That should be a good thing right? hahaha NO. Why? Because of course she wanted to spend time with Dominic. I let her go of course. I didn’t want to cause a fight. I had just gotten permission to leave the house. She left with her perfect friends and their perfect boyfriends. Robbie, Mason, Jack, Nathan and Troy. All from the football team. And who did I have? No one. Because all the guys hated me. I was an outcast. But did I care? No. I decided I should go home to my bedroom. The only happy place I had. Maybe I should email Maddy. I call my mother and tell her Sophie has gone off with Dominic. Of course she yells at me. I walk home crying. I climb the side of my house and into my room. My mother thinks i’m still at the mall. I open up my laptop and log into witty and tumblr. The only websites that are useful to me. On witty I right away see a quote that says “& one day i’ll be the one with the harvard degree, and you'll regret ever making fun of me” My life has been made.
