Do you know how creepy it is to be stalked? You can’t make
a single move without thinking to yourself, is somebody watching
me? It’s much scarier than you think. Chelsea became so
afraid of everything; she refused to leave the house unless
mandatory. She became withdrawn and would sit in her room all
day, too sad and scared to move. Her mom would try to cheer her
up, her mom even forced her to go to a therapist or something.
But nothing had helped. She was lost. Until she got a call.
It was Crista. She had completely forgotten that Crista had been
with them the day that Nicole disappeared. The thing was, Crista
wasn’t really their friend. They hung out sometimes, but
barely. Nicole had only invited her because, well, just because.
No reason, actually. Chelsea couldn’t help but wonder if
Crista is being threatened too, or if she was already taken, and
was calling for help? She picked up her phone and pressed the
green talk button.
“Hello?” She spoke into the phone
“Hi, Chelsea?” She heard the familiar voice of Crista
on the other side.
“Yeah, it’s me.”
“Has anything, weird been happening to you,
Brittany, or Tori.” She said
‘weird’ like it was some alien word that she’s
never used before.
“What do you mean Brittany, or Tori?”
Chelsea asked
“Huh?” She didn’t know. Oh. My. God. She
didn’t know. How could she not have heard about it, Chelsea
had thought that the whole town of Henrietta had.
“Um,” Chelsea had no clue how to tell her this.
“You know how Nicole went kind of,
‘MIA?’”
“Yeah, I was there when it happened.”
“So did Brittany and Tori.”
She blurted out. The other line was silent
“I’m so sorry” She heard somebody finally
whisper.
“Yeah,” Chelsea replied, “So am I”
