what in the world am I supposed to bring?

The person told my parents I have a limit of a few items. but I don't get how i'm supposed to bring enough food to last me the rest of my life.
besides, i'm 15. thats about 75 years.
Suddenly, my phone rand. My mom ran downstairs to get it, while me and my dad chose what to pack.
My mom ran upstairs, with a slight smile on her face. my first thought was that they called back and told me it was a joke. But then, my mom gave a whimper.
"They called back, but they didn't call back to cancel.'
I looked at my dad. He was crying.
"They said you could bring someone. Only one person, Janella. And here's what I think. Don't bring me or your father. Bring Lucas."
I looked at my mom, then at my dad. And gave a half cry.
Lucas has been my boyfriend for 3 years now, but my mom and dad weren't fond of lucas.
"but mom, you hate lucas."
She walked over to me and held onto my hand, then grabbed my dads.
"I know sweetie. But you love him, and if your stranded on an island, why not bring Lucas?" I looked at my mom, then my dad, and held onto them, and cried. Not caring about anything.
We all cried for about 20 minutes. I was really gonna miss them.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
My mom smiled at me, whispered something in my dads ear, and disappeared out of my room.
"how about we get finished packing?"
he said.
I shook my head and started packing some things i thought i need
deoderant, underwar,bras,sweat shirts, sweat pants, jeans, long sleeved shirts, T-shirts, socks, sneakers, flip flops, and the uggs my parents got for me a few months ago.
and more.
A few minutes later my mom came upstairs, she was smiling, with no tears in her eyes.
Lucas appeared in my room, with a few bags packed, crying a little. I ran up to him and hugged him, and we cried for a few minutes. He wiped away his tears, them mine, and grabbed my bag.
We walked downstairs and all 4 of us were standing in my lawn. 
I can't bear to to say good-bye.
I hugged my parents goodbye, and so did Lucas.
I was crying hysterically.
"Goodbye, Janella, Lucas" my mom said trying her best not to cry harder.
We looked at her.
"Goodbye mom."
"Goodbye guys. I love you both. Good luck." my dad said.
He was crying more than my mom.
In a blink of an eye, we were gone,
and i realized soon after.
That was the last time i'll ever see my parents.
