Chapter 23

We got to Justin's house and he gave me the guest room to sleep in. He took my waist and pulled me so my body pressed against his. "Goodnight, Sophie." He whispered. He kissed my forehead. "Goodnight." I said back as he left the room. I sat on the bed and sighed. I needed to go home. Back to my dads. Back to Texas. I need to face my problems on my own or I'll never be an individual. I grabbed my phone and went to dial a cab, but then I thought Of Justin. I can't hurt him. He'll see me or hear me leave and he'll worry. I'll have to wait until every ones asleep.

My alarm went off on the bedside table and I quickly shut it off before it woke anyone. I got up and put on sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I tore off a piece of paper from the desk and grabbed a pen.

Justin,

Don't worry about me. I called a cab and I have money. I'm going back home. I'm not telling you where because I know you'll come. I need to face my problems on my own. Thank you for everything. I love you, Justin. Don't ever forget that.

Sophie

I set the note on my pillow and grabbed my bag. I crept into Justin's room. His beautiful face sleeping away. I slowly tip-toed inside and leaned down. I kissed his cheek and then slowly crept back out. I headed out the door and shut it. The cab was already there by the time I got outside the hotel. He got out and grabbed my bags. "Where to, miss?" He asked. "Airport please. I'm going back home."

"Well I hope you liked your stay here in L.A." He said. I cracked I smile. "It was great.''
