Ch 2
I zipped up my jacket as I walked home after school. Suddenly I
heard a car honk, and I saw Markus was waiting for me up ahead. I
ran to the car and hopped into the passengers seat. "Hi
there." Makus laughed. We went to my house. I quietly opened
the front door of the large estate, and tiptoed down the hall,
Markus trailing behind. We got to my room and I shut the door,
throwing my bookbag onto the hardwood floor. "How can you
even stand Luke?" I questioned him.
"He's pretty cool. Well, he backs us up in fist fights
and stuff. You know?" Markus explained, biting his lip. I
knitted my eyebrows.
"Are you guys close?" I asked him. There was an awkward
silence.
"Yeah." Mark replied. I nodded as I pulled out my
notebook. It was turned to a page of me listing Pro's and
Con's about Markus and if I were to somehow go out with him.
I quickly flipped to another page. I looked at Markus. He had
this cute half smile on his face, and locked the door. I threw my
stuff off the bed and he pulled me close to him. We made out for
a bit, until he started to tug at my jeans.
"Mark what are you doing." I pulled away. "You did
it with Luke, didn't you? Why not me?"
I froze. My heart dropped. I could not even believe what he had
just said.
