For those of you who're against it, why is it that all you have to say is that it's your religion, or the bible tells you so? Are you just going to live your whole life according to a book? The bible may say that it's wrong for a man and man, or woman and woman to marry, but if you believe that god created the world, why would he make Gay people if it wasn't acceptable? Because it's all natural. I'm Atheist and I support Gay Marriage completely because I think that Gay people are just the same as straight people. They deserve to marry the person they love because love is love, and love knows no race or gender. I'm undecided as to whether or not I'm a Lesbian, or if I'm Bisexual or straight, but I just don't care. I don't take on a liking for the gender, I take on a liking for the person that they are. Gender doesn't matter, and in my eyes; it shouldn't matter, not even at the slightest. Gay people are no different than straight people, aside from the fact that they have Sexual Intercourse in different ways. But it's okay, because it IS natural. If the bible says that it's so wrong, and you believe in God and follow the Bible, why would Go even think to create Gay people in the first place if it was so wrong in his eyes? I realize everyone is open to their own opinion, but I believe that it's perfectly fine and I see no difference in a Gay marriage or relationship in contrast to a straight marriage or relationship.

Why does everyone let God make all of their decisions for them? I think he gave you a mind of your own to use and believe what you want. A lot of you guys are hypocrites. before marriage is a Sin, but I'm sure at least half your still watch "Teen Mom" and "16 and Pregnant".

As for Gay marriage, I'm for it. My Sister deserves to marry the woman of her dreams. Just like you deserve to marry the man of yours. If you don't like Gay marriage, don't get one. It's not going to hurt you if someone gets one, but it will hurt them. They can't control what gender they like. Telling them that it's wrong and disgusting is like yelling at you whenever you talk about the guy you like. Why should their love life have to be a secret to make other people happy?

As for this quote, I think it's stupid. Using a controversial topic because you know it will get in the top quotes is just dumb, and you should be ashamed of yourself for making LGBT people here on witty sit here and read this nonsense.

I totally support gay marriage, God will understand. God loves all of his children no matter what race, gender, or who they chose to love. You know what's truly disgusting? The intolerance of some people. Why don't you go feel nice sitting up on your high horse for being straight, . I love the gay community, and fully support their right to be married. God loves his children, God understands.

wow, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with gay marriage people? noo one can help who they fall in love with! yes i know were used to man & women but there is nothing wronf with man & man women & women. if someoneis happy with that let them. its not yourlife, & notyour choices. gay marrige is perfectly ok. many gays committ suicide because of all the times they arebeing judged.

whoever said marriage is stupid..? really? you think so? the LGBT community wants gay marriage not JUST because "Marriage is a pretty, nice little thing" No. With marriage, you gain benefit of your partner, so If your partner dies, and you are marrried, legally you get all rights to everything left behind. without gay marriage, they basically recieve nothing. so everyone quit hating. like please.

Now, I'm not religious, but I have had some education in from CCD. But what I don't understand is why the ones saying "the bible says it's wrong to be gay". However, the bible ALSO states it's wrong to lie, use gods name in vain, cheat, curse, to hate someone and a bunch of other things. I don't get why people just point out that being gay is the worst one in there. A sin is a sin, they're all bad. How come the bible lovers are only pointing out one sin and making a huge conflict over it. I know not ALL bible lovers are this way but some are. I'm not trying to offend anyone. I'm just stating my opinion.

Also, I'm for gay marriages.

I freaking love gay people. But honestly these quotes need to stop, sooner or later a fight will break out. Witty is not a place for fighting. If you really wanted to see if more people are for or against it you could have looked at hundreds of other quotes like this.

In the bible it is one man and one woman... And I don't think people should "have" to get married either, but it isn't the marriage that people want, it's the symbolism... It shows that you care enough about that man or that woman, that you want to marry them and show the world that you are with them forever... and I am totally against gay marriage and all that jazz because I'm a christian, I can't hate the people because God created everyone, I believe that people are legitimately born Gay and/or Lesbian; however, I am not the one to judge a person, I am just personally against it.
