For a few minutes, I couldn't hear
anything but my heart pounding.
My mind went blank and my whole body felt numb.
I just sat there and watched George.
"Look. Ben, Benny. I'm absolutely sorry. I shouldn't have accused
you."
"Let's just forget about this. Should we start cleaning up,
buddy?"
Then he flashed one of his fake, wide grins.
George was smart. But he can't trick me.
