Nicklebee needs to take her comments somewhere else. she has no idea your situation and she acts like she does.
honestly i think you're an amazing person for doing that. yeah it'll be hard but i'm sure you realized that. and for all the people who don't agree with what you're doing or can't get the facts through their heads that you adopted your daughter at the age of 17. when she was four. not when you were 13. and you are a legal adult at 17. you don't need to judge.

@ everyone else: i actually do have a stable job right now, i have savings bonds for her as of right now so when she gets older she can use them as she so chooses. and i know how to take care of her, being 17 doesnt make me automatically a party-hard teenager doing drugs. i know what i want in life, and Amira will always be in that picture&hearts;

even if you do live in canada and the adult age is 17, the chances of you adopting a child so young are extremly slim. im not saying your lying, im just saying that its very possible that you are. if your not lying im sorry, and congrats.

people. she already said she lives in canada. in canada you are considered an adult at age 17. she adopted her beautiful little daughter amira when she was almost 4 years old, not as a baby. and i would bet that she is an amazing mother. don't say she's too young. just because you're 17 doesn't automatically make you a bad parent just like being 30 doesn't necessarily make you a good parent. it's the love that counts and i would bet a lot that she loves that girl more than anything in the world.
