This is happening to me too O.o I would go for it, just tell him how you fel before he leaves... it may end up better than you hope for ;)

I say go for it! I think you would rather live regretting what you DID do then what you didn't do, because with regretting what you didn't do there is always that wonder of what coulda happened if you took your chances when he was here. And I think if all works out than you should be able to stay fairly close even after he leaves and if it wasn't meant to be than you won't remain close!
