(A Twisted version of Alice in
Wonderland)
Prologue-
"Sit down Alice, I have something very important to tell
you" Father patted a seat next to him. I tilted my head to
the side in confusion, strange father never wanted to talk to me.
I held the ragged bunny doll momma made in my hands and climbed
onto the seat.
"What is it, father?" I asked politely. It's better
this way, to treat each other like strangers and not like a
family. He always wanted it like that. "Mom as you know has
died in a terrible car accident a year ago and-"
"She didn't die from a accident. If she did, why was
there no blood on momma's car? Why was her body not
found?" I questioned. He stared at me, his eyes flashed
amusement and shock.
He shook his head and got up from his seat. "You'll get
it later on Alice" he patted my head, "Well as I said
before, it would be best if I put you up for adoption...
I...I can't take care of you any
more Alice."
I stared at him for a moment, adoption? I took a deep breath,
trying to hold back the tears. "If that is what you want
Father, I'll get packed."
He nodded, "I'm sorry Alice." He got up and
walked out the room. I sat there in the dark, I tighten my
grip on the doll.
I know why you didn't want
me Father.
It's not because you couldn't take care of me is it?
It's because after Momma left us, it's to much to even
look at me.
It's because I look just like her...
