Once Upon a Summer
Prolouge
SUMMER.
A lot of things come to mind when people think of summer- tans,
the beach, friends, fairs, late nights, parties,
BBQs,
bonfires... Every year, everyone expects that summer to be the
best one yet. And every year it never turns out like we hope it
would. I've always loved summer, despite that, though. Even
if it's never quite as exciting as the fantasies we concoct
in those last few months of school, summer is usually the time of
year that the best memories come along with.
I figured the summer before my Freshman year would be a lot of
the same things as always- lots of sleepovers, beach every day,
and etc. And it was, but I also got a whole lot more than I
expected. That year, summer finally lived up to it's high
expectations.
