Chapter Twentysix
>>Tyler's POV.
"Hey Grey!" Someone yelled. "Yeah?" I turned
around and saw Jake waiting for me. "You coming?" I
nodded. I got out from below the car I was working in and cleaned
my hands. I walked out of the shop and saw a cab parking.
"Who that?" I asked to Jake. "I have no
idea." Jake answered. A girl got out, about twenty two. Long
black hair, tall. Beautiful. She looked familiar too. She was
carrying a small suitcase. Jake dropped the glass of water in his
hand, and it shattered against the floor.
"Scarlett." Jake whispered. She nodded and he ran
towards her, hugging her tight. "Were the hell have you been
kid!? I missed you so much." She said something and
that's when I recognized her. "Scarlett?" I
whispered, and walked towards her. Jake stepped away and into his
office. "Hey Tyler." She said. I reached for her hand,
trying to see if she was actually there as she had done a few
years later with her mother. She smiled and a tear slipped down
her eye. I dried it with my thumb and kissed her, lifting her
feet of the ground. She wrapped her arms around my neck.
"Please don't leave me. Ever again. You have no idea how
painful everything was without you." I whispered into her
ear. She pulled away from me and smiled. "I'll never
leave. Ever. I want to be with you. Always. I never want to be
apart from you again." I smiled to her and then realized
what I had to do. I got down on one knee, and she
gasped.
"Scarlett Chambers, I do not have a ring here to make it
official, but will you please marry me?" "Yes!"
She screamed. "Yes!" She whispered again when I hugged
her. Finally, I was happy. I was in love with the most beautiful
girl in the world. "I stopped believing in fairy
tales." She said, pulling away. "Me too." I
whispered. "But then again, you showed up." She
whispered. "And we made a fairy tale of our own."
