Tonight..
SHE'S..

she's in her room by herself
in a hoodie and a pair of shorts
leaning against her wall
clenching a pillow as tight as she can
she has her ipod turned up full blast
playing a song that wouldn't remind her of him
she thinks back to how everything used   to be
thinks about everything they had
she looks at the pictures of him and her happy together
tears stream down her face as she realizes..
things will never be the same.

 

Tonight..
HE'S..
at the park, shooting hoops with his friends
& keeps missing his shots
she keeps crossing his mind
he remembers the time he came there with her
where he kissed her for the first time
memories keep flooding back
to the point where he sits out
& can't stop thinking about them
he tries to cover them up but tears start to form
he realizes how much he misses her
but things will never be the same.
