Chapter 12 Part 3

Lindsey’s POV:

After a couple seconds we pulled back. I look into his clear emerald eyes, and at that moment it started raining. “Ever been kissed in the rain?” Alec asked. “No...” I say. After saying that he pulled me back in for another kiss this one lasting longer. When we stopped I could feel myself blushing. We were at the bottom now, Alec raised the bar and helped me out. We held hands and ran out to the beach. I ran right into the water, Alec followed. He picked me up, and spun me around, we splashed each other, and just laughed and had fun. We stopped and just looked at each other. “Lindsey I love you.” Alec said after a silence. Even though he said it an hour or so ago, it still gave me butterflies. “I love you too, Alec.” Then he pulled me towards him, his arms wrapping around me, our bodies becoming one. He kissed me, just like Noah kissed Allie when she came back to him, after the got off the boat and it was raining. Raining like it was now, except we were in the ocean. “Hey, what are you doing tonight?” Alec says hold my face in his hands. “Being with you.” “How about we go to the tree house?” “Alright.” We run back into his car hand in hand. I really am in love, I thought for someone like me to feel love would be impossible. Let alone to be loved. But here I am.
