Truth
Chapter 1
It was the first day of school. Me , My dad, and my mom and
younger sister Jasmine just moved from California to Nevada. My
sister Jasmine was in 8th grade. She came to me about everything.
By the way I'm Liz Brown short for the Elizabeth obviously. I
got the long brown hair with blue eyes. I'm almost
5"8. I'm a Christian. This was the first time I ever
moved and to be honest it was hard leaving a house I grew up in.
No my life is not perfect and Yes I have been through hell and
back. But I always put a smile on my face and live life to the
fullest. It was August 29th 7 am in the morning it was a
Thursday. My parents were arguing for some reason. I walked into
my sisters room to see If she was ok. Our parents had been
fighting alot. I think moving had been causing them fights. My
sister was crying.
" Liz , Mom has been acting weird this morning" said
Jasmine.
"What do you mean ? " I asked
" She keeps telling me she loves me and shes going to be
sorry " She said
" Hmm " I said
" Also to look over dad " She continued.
My dad then walked into my sisters room.
"Dad is mom ok ? " I asked
" I hope , shes been acting different , somethings
definitely wrong with her " He said " But go get ready
its your first day you don't want to be late"
I was so nervous about going to school . I was hoping to meet a
friend. I straightened my hair and put it in a braided pony tail
to the side. I then put on a Love is the answer shirt with Light
denim skinny Jeans and Roxy Flip flops. I grabbed my cell phone
and ran downstairs and grabbed a water bottle and jumped into my
car and drove to school. I walked into homeroom and sat
down next to this kid. I then looked over to look at him. He was
so cute. He had blue eyes that shined and shaggy brown hair.
" hey " He said
" Hi " I replied
" What's your name? " He asked
" Liz , you ? " I replied
" Anthony " He responded.
"Cool " I answered
" I'm guessing your new ? " He asked
" Yeah " I replied
"Cool , ya look nervous " He said
" Do I really ? "I asked
" Nah , I'm just messing " He said " Let me
see your schedule"
I handed him my schedule .
" Dude, We have the same classes " He said
" Oh this should be interesting" I said
" Oh don't worry it will be " He said
The homeroom bell rang. I went to first period and got sat
next to Anthony again.
I rolled my eyes when I saw him sitting next to my seat.
" Don't worry Liz , this is how its going to be for
every class , alphabetical order get hype " He said
I laughed.
During first period he kept handing me notes asking me about
myself me and him seemed to have alot of things in common we both
like All time low and never shout never and bands like that , We
each had one sibling , and both liked Chinese food there were
more things to that we had in common. I decided to drop my lunch
period since school ended at 1:30. In 7th period the last
period of the day Anthony asked for my number I gave it to him. I
seemed to have a good day. I then went to my locker and put my
books in my locker and left school. On the way home I had a weird
feeling something was going to
happen.
