Fading Away

Just before I put my last book in, a junior guy walked up to the locker next to mine and smiled at me before opening it up. Oh my gosh! Stay cool. I tried to calm myself down before I shut my locker door on my hand or something. I smiled back and casually put my last book away and started to walk  down the hall before I could embarrass myself. This guy was incredibly hot. He looked like he could be a model for Hollister with his slightly long blonde hair, very obvious arm muscles, and a perfect white smile. “Wait!” he called after me. I walked back over wondering what he wanted. “Don’t you want to lock your locker?” Of course I thought to myself. I screwed up already. “Ummm right… I forgot….” He chuckled and introduced himself. “I’m Zach,” he said. “Hi I’m Tori.” “Tori, that’s a cute name.” I blushed, was he flirting with me? Well he probably thinks I am a junior like him. “I have to go.” I said bluntly. “Yeah, I have to be in homeroom well, right now actually.” He smiled. God I love his smile.  “I am sure I will see you again.” He motioned towards our lockers next to each other. “Yeah.” I smiled back at him. “Well bye.” I started to walk away. “Can I have your number?” he asked me quickly. I turned around and replied “Ummm sure, yea” That's a little straight forward I thought to myself, but... it's okay with me I decided.  I smiled and got a piece of paper out of my locker.  I wrote down my cell number and handed it to him. “I’ll text you!” he said as I was walking away. Maybe having a locker in the junior’s area wasn’t so bad...
