chapter 11
Cameron became stiff and stopped talking to me. 
"Cameron... why are you talking to her"
Courtney said and tapped her toe and crossed her arms. 
He looked at her, then looked at me. He looked at me for a while, the smiled and stood up. "Courtney, im tired of you treating me like this. When i said we were DONE i meant it. you think you could just kick me around. you cant. DONE." he raised his voice. Courtney looked at him with her mouth wide open. 
i smiled to myself, as Cameron pulled my hand and stomped away. We walked together to his cabin, in silence. 
We got into his cabin which he shares with the 3 other band members. I took a seat on one of the beds and he paced back and forth. 
"I just dont understand. She thinks im her little servent and she could just use me. She cant. She ruined my summer last year. i wanted to start over, and be done with her. She came back here like nothing happened. I told her i was done. and trust me i know how to treat a girl but-" he stopped and looked at me sitting on the bed. "oh, i forgot you were here" he laughed to himself. "sorry i didnt mean to rant on and on; i bet im boring you, sorry" he looked down at the floor. I wasnt bored! i enjoyed listening. that one thing i was always good at; listening to others problems. 
"No! dont worry about it Cameron, really, im always here to listen. Trust me, its the first full day of camp, we cant let her ruin it" i smiled at him. 
"Your a sweet girl, Jess." he said, and returned the smile.
