Today I was bored and on the computer, and I remembered my reading teacher talking about a man who did experiments on people during the Holocaust.

So, I looked it up.

A man named Josef Mengele did horrible experiments on concentration camp victims, especially
pregnant mothers,
children,
and identical twins.

***Warning, you may not want to read the next pharagraph.***

He tried to change children’s eye colors by injecting their eyes with chemicals and did amputations and major surgeries. He would poison one twin, then kill the other and compare them. One set of twins he sewed together to make them Siamese twins. Their parents killed them with morphine just to end their suffering of their wounds.

He did this to

TO HUMANS.
People like you and me.

Then, I read about someone who survived his experiments; along with her twin. She had been poisoned at age 10, but she survived. Although her sister died years later, she is still living her life the horrors of her memories.

But, at age 71, she forgives Dr. Mengele and the Nazis.

Think about it.

Would you ever be able to forgive?
