sport... im not a cheerleader but i think it can be difficult enough to be considered a sport if the person takes it seriously enough...

It is a sport. The reason that people make a huge deal about it is because there are some ignorant people that think it is not because it looks easy/pretty or we don't exactly compete. Gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, and colorguard all seem the same. My point is that there is a lot of effort to be able to work as a team and use gymnastics ability too and such. Does that sound right?

i guess it counts as a sport, i just dont think its as hard as people like to say it is. they build it up like its the hardest thing in the world, but its not like its cagefighting or anything like that. some cheerleaders seem to think that they can do anything just because they are cheerleaders, or that no one can do what they can do, even though that isnt true.
