My eye
tears up,
I start to cry,
As my father whispers,
his final goodbye.
My mom is holding me back,
stroking my head,
as my father lays,
on his deathbed.
I'm bawling by now,
and everyone knows,
My love for my dad,
clearly shows.
Illness is bad.
Death is worse.
It will happen to all of us.
It's a never ending
curse.
My dad closes his eyes,
and falls into heaven,
before I can count,
up to eleven.
He is gone now,
And I miss him so.

My Dad Died In One Of My Dreams One Night... I Woke Up Crying And I Told My Mom Who Then Told My Dad... He Came Into My Room And I Gave Him The Biggest And Longest Hug I Had In Years.. I Love My Dad.

i haven't lost my dad. but we lost my grandad about a month ago. and the one thing my dad regrets is not being there when he passed away.

Honestly, this made me cry.. my dads been through it all with me. He finally got custody of me, got re-married and lives his life, hes a roll model, my bestfriend and a father;)<33333

lost my dad this summer, watched him die in the hospital was the hardest thing i've had to do. stay strong, it gets better
