We all
piled onto the bus and scrunched into the last few rows in the
back. We all were having all sorts of fun when I heard a screeching
noise. We all look up and see a car coming towards us being chased
by a cop car. Time went by in slow motion. The car flew over the
median. All the sudden its tires got lose and it slammed into the
middle of the bus. This wasn’t like the movies. I felt the
bus shake with the collision. We teetered on two wheels and then
landed on our side. Everyone crashed into the side of the bus. The
windows broke. I blacked out. I go in and out of
consciousness. I see people running around. Crying. Flashing
lights. I feel being moved into an ambulance. I black
out. When I wake again all I see
is bright light. I hear the beeping of a heart monitor. I blink
multiple times trying to clear my fogged head. “Oh good, you’re
up dear.” says a voice. “Am I in a
hospital?” “Yes, your school bus
was hit by a driver in a car chase.” “Where is Jake? Where
is Matt! Where are my friends?!” “You should feel lucky
that no one accept the car’s driver died. Everyone on the bus
is alive and in this hospital for care.” “I need to see
them!” “You will soon now go
back to sleep.” I can’t help but drift
off. My eyes blink slowly and then yet again. I’m
