Part Fourteen
 

she was very pretty for her young age. she looked around 12, with brown wavy hair that went halfway down her back. she had hazel eyes that looked exactly like kyle's. in fact, she looked exactly like kyle.
"m-mandy?" i stammered. "i-im sorry, i didnt know anyone was here."
"yeah, im kyle's little sister."
"i know, he's told me alot about you." which was true, kyle loved her so much.
"yeah, ive heard alot about you too. you're aree right? dang, you are pretty."
i smiled "thanks. you are too! how old are you?"
"13"
"better watch out, those boys are gonna start throwin themselves at you soon."

she laughed
"so what school do you go to?" i asked her"well im goin to rillsway in a couple years." that was my highschool.
"oh, cool, youre gonna love it! just, be careful about rumors, they spread fast."
"ok.. yeah i heard about what happened to you.. im really sorry.."
 i shrugged. "it happens"
we were quiet for a moment iand i knew we were both thinking about what happened downstairs.
"so you saw all of that?" she asked uncomfortably.
"knd of. im sorry, i just wanted to know what was going on so i could help kyle."
"yeah, just dont tell him you know, let him tell you his self. and... dont tell anyone."
"i wouldnt ever."
"swear?" she heldd out her pinky.

i returned her smile "swear."
.....
a couple hours later, i was leaving kyle's house after studying. mandy had stayed in the room with us. and a couple times, she had looked at me wierdly. 
"do i have to go now?" i asked kyle.
"yessss"
"why?"
"just because. im sorry, i'll see you later."

while i was leaving, she followed me outside. 
"hey, can i ask you something? and get an honest answer?" "anything."
"well, theres this boy, and we hang out all the time, i feel like i need to protect him, and i never want to leave his side. i really want him to like me, so lied to him so i could spend more time with him. am i falling in love with him?" i smiled. 
"actually mandy, i know you are. you're falling hard. and im almost positive he feels the same way."

she looked at me, smiled and said, "that's what i thought."

"yeah, good luck girl." she smiled again and walked to the door. she stopped at the door turned to me and said,

"and dont worry, i' wont tell kyle."

and with that, she winked at me, and left me in shock.
