Untitled #2
When I get back to class we had already started to go over class
expectations. I am so glad that I was called down to the office. We
go over the handouts all class and when the bell rings I tell Luke
that I have to show him around. He seems too excited about it. We
head off to earth science, which is the advanced science class, and
I introduce him to Mr. Malacan. I know him because he is my cross
country coach. Luke takes his seat and Mr. Malacan noticed that I
don’t like him very much. “Not too thrilled to be a
baby- sitter today are you?” he says. “Not
really” I say. “Oh well, you can’t get out of it
now.” I take my seat and class starts. All throughout class I
text Josh.
Me: Heyy Josh!!
Josh: Heyy lulu, what’s up?
Me: nm I have to be a baby sitter for the new kid today. He
really annoying and is from Cali.
Josh: What’s he look like, cause normally when you think
someone’s annoying you think he’s
cute.
Me: What No I don’t. He has short blonde hair which he
spikes, eww. And he’s about your height maybe a little
shorter so probably like 5’11. He has some muscle and looks
like a football player again eww.
Josh: Okay, but he sounds like Jake, the boy u like. Oh well.
So how are your classes?
Jake is the starting quarter back for my school and is in my grade.
He and I used to be friends but he really hurt Gabby so we
don’t talk any more. I can’t deny that I think
he’s really cute, but he’s nothing like Luke.
I ignore Josh and then the bell rings. Oh how I love modified days.
We have 10 minutes to get to class and 20 minute classes. The day
goes on exactly the same. Walk Luke to class. Go over expectations.
Repeat. By the end of the day I am so excited for cross country. I
get changed while talking to my teammates.. everyone is super
excited to start the season. My sister Lauren is the caption and is
determined to win sectionals this year. “we have a really
good chance this year. We only graduated one of our top seven
runners and our little eight graders are finally freshmen. We have
no rookies this year, which is more than any other team can
say.” says Lauren. “ Laur, you’re way to serious
about this. Its only the first day of practice and who cares what
happens. Odds are that none of us are gonna take first in every
race and we all know we are the best, who care what everyone else
thinks.” I argue. I get nods of approval from the younger
runners but the older girls just shake their heads. My sister walks
out of the locker room and we all follow.
again sorry its boring, i have to get everything organized.
