Actually, Canada IS in America. So is Mexico. So is Brazil. Because North and South America make up THE Americas. Say what you want, but the country you're trying to insult is actually the United States of America.

By calling our country just, "America," you're theoretically saying we have control over the majority of land in the western hemisphere, i.e. North and South America.

And you say citizens from the United States are "stupid."
