Life sucks sometimes.
It's not like me to say this, especially
about something so stupid. But you're cute. You're
single, well at least Facebook says that but I'm sure
there's someone on your mind anyway, and it's not me.
Now, I can't say I like you, at least not yet. I
haven't really gotten to know you. But I can say that
you're cute. I mean, you are, with your curly hair and
those green eyes. The ones that I try to picture in my mind,
but I never can get the color right, mostly because I don't
really remember exactly what color they were, but they were
green. They were amazing. I mean, I only met you a few days
ago, in a club after school. We have the same science teacher,
except I have her first hour and you have her at the end of the
day. You're in band. I used to be in band, back in middle
school, but I dropped out of it for high school. The band is
pretty awesome, but I don't regret dropping out. Anyway,
you're in band, with all of your band friends. Not that it
makes any difference. Except that it means you're in my
lunch period. I used to not like my lunch period very much,
because it's the second lunch and almost all of my friends
are in the first lunch. I mean, the day seems to go by faster
with second lunch, and I have some of my friends in it, but
sometimes I miss my first lunch friends. But you're in my
lunch. Today I tried to find you. I saw you yesterday, you were
kicking around a soccer ball outside with a few other guys. You
were also eating an apple. It was green. Like your eyes. Not
the same shade of green, but it was green. Today, I saw a kid
with curly hair from far away, and I thought it was you. But
when I walked by, I realized it wasn't you, and I was a
little disappointed. I never found you. So I wished to see you
after school, even for a second in the hallway, and I actually
did. You were walking out of the building with some random
girl. I thought for a second you were holding her hand, but I
looked again and you weren't. Then again, you don't
have a girlfriend. I'm sure she's just a friend. Right?
Either way, I asked you if you were going to that club after
school, the one we're both in, and you said you
wouldn't be there right away because you had band practice,
but you might go later. Then my parents called, said they were
there to pick me up, forgetting about the fact that I had clubs
after school, and I went home and that was the last time I saw
you today. Yes, I remember last night on Facebook chat, I asked
if you were going to that club and you said you had practice.
We had a short conversation before you had to eat dinner,
somewhere around 8 pm, pretty late if you ask me but oh well.
Either way, I'd love to get to know you
better.
I just hope you at least remembered my name.
