part 11. - Surprise ? -
today, was the reading
of my mother's will. it was cloudy out. the weatherman said
there was a 90% chance of rain. it was the perfect weather to
what i was feeling inside. My father and i were the first ones
to get there. then slowly one by one of the close family
members and my siblings' cars showed up in the parking lot. we
entered the room , it reeked of oldness. there were 15 seats
inside. i sat in the front row. this is weird even scary. i
knew i'll be in here for my mom but not at 16 maybe atleast 50
or something.
the door opened , finally uncle pat is here! Finally we can get
this over with.
"First on the will ,
will be for the children that Mrs. Dillens and Mr. Dillens.
Mrs. dillens gives each of the following children ; Lillen
Dillens, Michael Dillens, Zach Dillens, Julia Dillens,
Christopher Dillens receives 50 thousand dollars each and other
items. " wait
what ? i countiued to listen to see if my name was mentioned
later.
"Now
for Mrs. Dillens and Mr. Paul Jeffery's child; Jenna Dillens,
she also receives 50 thousand dollars, plus other
items." He
finished.
i stood straight up and yelled on the top of my
lungs.
"WAIT, WHAT ! WHAT DO
YOU MEAN AND MR. PAUL JEFFERY'S CHILD! WHO IS PAUL! WHY IS HE
MY FATHER !" i
felt dizzy, the room was spinning around i couldn't stand
straight so i grabbed my chair to not faint. the room was
cutting into a short small box. it just kept fainting away. the
last thing i remember was my not biological father's
voice. "Sweetheart , mother always wanted
to tell you the truth."
